        Firmware release notes

        Updated: August 12, 2026

        2020+ Cypher III

        2020+ SR/F & SR/S + 2022-25 SR + 2023+ DSR/X + 2024+ S & DS & DSR

        MBB V46, BMU V22, BMS V28

        New Features:

        • Battery State of Health for each battery module is now accessible via dealer diagnostic tools.

        Bug Fixes/Improvements:

        • Fix: Resolved a defect where motorcycles equipped with a Power Tank could, in certain conditions, start riding powered only by the Power Tank before the main traction battery pack had been detected, resulting in reduced range and potential power loss. Note: After this update, the motorcycle waits for the main traction battery pack to be detected before it will ride. On Power Tank-equipped bikes, a brief delay at key-on may occur in rare conditions. Charging is not affected.
        • Fix: Resolved a bug where the displayed SoC could increase unexpectedly near the end of a discharge, causing the range estimate to show more range than was actually available.
