Battery

Powered by two 1.86kWh lithium-ion batteries, the LS1 balances performance and practicality for everyday commuting. Smooth power delivery and a low-slung placement give the LS1 nimble handling, perfect for navigating any urban jungle. A third optional accessory 1.86kWh battery is available and can be stored under the LS1’s seat, helping to effectively extend the LS1’s range.

Charging

The LS1’s external charger takes the battery from 0% to 90% in just 4.5 hours, making overnight charging effortless and cost-effective. Conveniently recharge from any standard outlet or remove the battery and bring it inside with you and charge it in your home. It’s the kind of convenience that fits seamlessly into daily life.

Motor

The LS1’s compact electric motor produces up to 8.4 kW of peak power and an instant 51 Nm of torque, giving effortless acceleration at any speed. With 240 Nm of torque at the wheel, every twist of the throttle delivers smooth, responsive power synonymous with Zero Motorcycles.

Anti-Theft

A mechanical steering lock provides the first line of defense. About ten seconds after being powered off, the LS1 automatically self-locks for added security. When the key fob is out of range, the vehicle immediately immobilizes itself, and any attempt to move it triggers brief, sustained torque pulses from the motor, locking the rear wheel for roughly five seconds at a time. This process repeats every 3 meters of movement to effectively deter casual theft.
