EICMA 2025

We took the stage at EICMA 2025 with a clear message: the future of electric mobility will be more accessible and connected than ever, and we’re leading the way.

As we begin celebrating our 20th year of pioneering and advancing electric two-wheel mobility, EICMA offered the perfect moment to reflect on how far this technology has come, and how our ongoing work continues to push it forward.

This new era in Zero’s history starts three major unveilings: the all-new LS1 scooter, the Lompico Concept, and the refined Model Year 2026 lineup. Together, they represent the culmination of a two-decade journey of redefining what’s possible on two wheels.

Zero LS1: Urban Mobility, Evolved

Zero’s first step into the world of urban scooters, the LS1, is designed for real life in real cities: from Milan and Paris to Barcelona and beyond. Lightweight, agile, and unmistakably Zero, it combines modern design with everyday usability.

Two compact and swappable batteries stored in the floorboard keep the center of gravity low for superb balance and handling. The center-mounted motor, paired with standard ABS and traction control, delivers smooth, confidence-inspiring power whether you’re slicing through traffic or cruising a waterfront boulevard.

Charging the batteries can be done at home, the office, or any public outlet using the supplied off-board charger. The easily removable batteries can be brought inside to be put on an 800W charger. Using the supplied 800W charger, charging from 0-95% takes 4.5 hours and 20-80% is done as little as 3 hours. With the optional accessory 1500W fast charger, charging from 20-80% takes a staggering 1.75, and charging from 0-95% takes 2.75 hours.

And because practicality matters, the LS1’s under-seat storage swallows two helmets — or your day’s groceries — and can even house a third accessory battery, pushing range from 115 km up to a best-in-class 173 km.

“The LS1 is designed for the people we see every day in cities like Paris, Milan, or Barcelona — professionals who want to move easily, avoid the costs of fuel and parking, and look sharp while doing it,” said Pierre-Martin Bos, CEO of Zero Motorcycles. “It’s simple, stylish, and it makes riding electric accessible to a whole new group of riders — without compromising what makes Zero special.”

The Lompico Concept: A Glimpse at What’s Next

Built to showcase Zero’s next-generation Cypher 4 operating ecosystem, Lompico reimagines how riders interact with their machines — integrating adaptive performance, intelligent connectivity, and rider-first technology into one seamless experience.

Approachable, Everyday Performance

Beneath the surface, the Lompico Concept houses an 8.8 kWh battery tuned for optimal power and range, with a target output of around 30 kW (40 hp). Power delivery is familiar to anyone who's ever ridden a Zero: smooth yet instantaneous, a seamless surge of energy. When it’s time to recharge, it's possible for this powertrain to manage 0-80% in less than an hour, perfect for urban and adventure riders.

A New Era, in Action

“Lompico is the vessel for Zero Motorcycles to show the world the next step in the evolution of electric motorcycles. We’re not just launching a concept — we’re starting a conversation about where design and technology can take us next.” - Pierre-Martin Bos, CEO, Zero Motorcycles

The 2026 Lineup Gets a Refresh and Refinement

This year, at EICMA, we also revealed updates to the core Model Year 2026 lineup, emphasizing a continued focus on refinement and customer-driven evolution.

Building on two decades of innovation, the MY26 range delivers refined performance, proven reliability, and expanded options for riders worldwide. Based on customer feedback, the MY26 range receives sought-after upgrades. The S and DS models now feature a 3.3 kW onboard charger for faster charging, and a firmware-upgraded 15.6 kWh battery, up from 14.4 kWh. The SR/F receives a subtle refresh, sporting additional aero strakes and a redesigned belly pan inspired by the SR/F that raced the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in 2019.
