A New Level of Control for E-Moto
Electric off-road riding changes the way a motorcycle meets the trail. Instant torque, quiet power, and a new generation of lightweight, approachable performance make the Zero X Line a natural platform for riders who want to explore more terrain with more confidence.
As those riders progress, the next frontier is clear: suspension. The more speed, grip, and technical terrain a rider unlocks, the more important it becomes for the chassis to stay balanced, composed, and responsive. That is where Zero Motorcycles and Sirris Suspension come together.
Zero is introducing purpose-built suspension upgrades for the X Line in partnership with Sirris: the Sirris F43 CMX fork for the Zero XB, and a complete F43/R46 front-and-rear suspension system for the Zero XE. Both are engineered as direct replacements for the stock suspension, tuned specifically for the geometry, weight distribution, and ride character of Zero's electric off-road motorcycles.

Built Together. Engineered to Fit.
This partnership exists because two teams focused on what they do best. Sirris engineered and manufactured the suspension hardware, drawing from decades of experience in suspension design, production, and race-level tuning. Zero led the ride goals, vehicle integration, setup philosophy, and validation across varied terrain conditions.
The result is not an off-the-shelf conversion or a one-off race build. It is a vehicle-integrated upgrade designed around the X Line as a complete motorcycle. Every decision, from spring rates and valving to chassis compatibility and installation guidance, was made with the XB and XE platforms in mind.

"Everyone at Sirris has a passion for offroad of all types, and E-Moto is, in our opinion, the most exciting new space in the powersports world. Since starting the company, we have already seen huge changes in the product and culture in this space. Our collaboration with Zero on their XB and XE perfectly demonstrates the movement of riders demanding more and more capable performance for their e-motos.
With all of our backgrounds at the industry’s leading companies in offroad, Sirris is bringing top-level performance to the fast-changing E-Moto world. We offer solutions that are custom to the bike and are plug-and-play for the rider."
Why Suspension Matters on the X Line
Electric motorcycles place different demands on suspension than gas-powered machines. Power delivery is immediate, weight is distributed differently, and the riding experience makes every input easier to feel. For an E-Moto built to move between trail riding, technical terrain, and spirited off-road sessions, suspension needs to do more than absorb hits. It needs to help the rider trust the bike.
The Sirris upgrades were tuned to support that trust. They give XB and XE riders a broader window of adjustment for different weights, terrain, riding styles, and bike setups. The goal is balance first: keeping the front and rear of the motorcycle working together so the rider can focus on line choice, traction, and momentum.
That philosophy shows up in the owner setup guidance as well. Before chasing clicker settings, riders are directed to focus on sag, spring rate, fork height, and front-to-rear balance. In other words, the system is built for tuning that starts with the motorcycle as a whole.

F43 CMX Fork for the Zero XB
For the Zero XB, the upgrade begins at the front end with the Sirris F43 CMX fork. The fork uses a symmetrical closed-cartridge design with two independent sealed dampers, giving the XB a premium, fully adjustable foundation for mixed-terrain riding.
Zero and Sirris developed the XB specification around the bike's geometry, stock wheels, and intended use. The factory setup is tuned with a 3.6/3.2 N/mm spring combination, and riders can choose from available F43 spring rates ranging from 3.2 to 5.8 N/mm. Sequential spring rates can also be combined between fork legs for riders who want to land between standard rate steps.
Fitment was treated as part of the performance story. The F43 CMX fork installs using the stock Zero XB stem with an included spacer, and the package includes the caliper bracket, wheel spacers, and brake line routing solution designed around the XB chassis. The outcome is a bolt-on upgrade that feels intentional because it was developed for the bike from the beginning.

F43/R46 Suspension System for the Zero XE
For the Zero XE, the Sirris package goes front to rear. The system pairs the Sirris F43 fork with the Sirris R46 rear shock, tuned together to maintain balanced chassis geometry and consistent trail performance.
The Zero production tune combines a 4.4/4.0 N/mm F43 fork setup with a 105 N/mm R46 shock spring. For riders pushing into more demanding conditions, an aggressive race tune is available with fork spring rates up to 4.8/4.4 N/mm, increased oil volume, and a 115 N/mm rear shock spring.
The XE system is also designed to grow with the rider and the bike. R46 shock spring rates are available from 75 to 115 N/mm, providing options for different rider weights, riding styles, and configurations. Full compression, rebound, preload, and spring rate adjustment allow the setup to be refined as the terrain or the rider's pace changes.

Tuned for the Real World
A suspension upgrade only matters if it performs where riders actually ride. Zero led ride tuning and validation across varied terrain conditions to ensure the systems were developed for real trail use, not just for a spec sheet. Sirris brought the hardware engineering, manufacturing, and service knowledge required to turn that tuning target into a repeatable product.
Like any premium suspension system, the F43 fork is designed to settle in over its first hours of riding. After the initial break-in period, riders can begin making meaningful adjustments to clickers, spring rates, and setup based on their own terrain and pace. Small changes matter, and the Sirris platform gives riders the tools to make them count.

Available Now at Zero Dealers around the world
Both Sirris suspension systems are available now through Zero's authorized dealer network. Riders interested in upgrading their XB or XE can work with a Zero dealer to learn more about availability, fitment, installation, and setup support.
The X Line was built to open a new door into electric off-road performance. With Sirris suspension upgrades, that door opens even wider: more adjustability, more support, and more confidence for riders ready to see what their Zero can do next.
