2024 Model Year Launch
Zero Motorcycles
EICMA 2023 Brings Innovation and Adventure
On November 7th, 2023, at the world’s largest motorcycle trade show in Milan, Zero Motorcycles unveiled the next chapter in our pursuit of an all-electric future. With the launch of these new 2024 models, we’ve broadened our lineup to welcome riders of all experience levels—whether you’re a seasoned veteran or just starting your journey.
"Our 2024 lineup represents over 16 years of relentless development and innovation. We’ve built motorcycles that aren’t just about being electric—they’re about being better, smarter, and more accessible to riders all over the world. Every rider should have an electric option that fits their needs, and that’s what we’re delivering with this launch.”
A New Era Begins for Zero
Zero has always been about more than just building motorcycles—we’re focused on pushing boundaries and redefining the riding experience. This year, we’ve taken that mission to new heights with the launch of the all-new Zero S and significant updates to our dual sport lineup.
The Zero S marks a pivotal moment, being the first high-performance model designed for riders with 11kW licenses. 11kW motorcycles offer limited power, often for beginner riders with an entry level license, but the Zero S changes the game. With a new 75.7 motor and double the battery capacity of its predecessor, this model gives riders the freedom to experience the power, range, and excitement of a truly high-performance electric motorcycle.
The Zero S is built for those who believe the journey is just as important as the destination. It’s the most adaptable, intuitive ride available in the 11kW category, bridging the gap between accessibility and the thrill of high-performance motorcycling.
Reinventing Dual Sport
If you're into exploring off the beaten path, you’re likely already familiar with our DS and DSR models. These longtime favorites have been upgraded this year to meet the growing demand for rugged, go-anywhere electric motorcycles at a range of different price points. Building on the success of the Zero DSR/X, the latest models are ready to take on any adventure, whether it’s navigating busy city streets or carving through mountain trails.
At the peak of our adventure lineup sits the DSR/X Black Forest Edition—a limited-edition model built for serious adventurers. With premium features like spoked wheels, fog lights, crash bars, a touring windscreen, and a three-piece luggage set, it's equipped to handle the toughest rides with ease.
For those ready to push boundaries, the Black Forest Edition is designed for long-distance journeys and challenging terrain, making it the ultimate companion for off-the-grid exploration. Our focus with the Dual Sport Line remains clear: build bikes that are reliable, durable, and capable of tackling any challenge. With enhanced chassis and belt drive upgrades, these bikes are tougher than ever.
Transform & Evolve
The beauty of our platform lies in its flexibility. For 2024, Zero is expanding its adaptable technology to even more models, allowing riders to upgrade their motorcycles as their skills grow. The new SR and DSR models champion this flexibility, making them ideal for A2 license holders in Europe. As your experience advances, your motorcycle evolves with you, delivering higher performance without needing to switch bikes.
Riders progressing from an A2 license can seamlessly upgrade to a full A license and unlock higher top speeds, increased torque, and enhanced performance, all without needing to buy a new bike. Zero’s adaptable technology lets your motorcycle grow with you, offering a personalized, evolving experience that keeps pace with your journey as a rider.
For our European riders, the FXE, S, and DS models with a continuous power output of 11kW, are a great option for giving new riders with an A1 license the opportunity to tap into the freedom of electric motorcycling. Wherever you are in the world, Zero ensures that electric power, performance, and adaptability are accessible to every rider, every step of the way.
Future Meets Function
The Zero SR-X, a concept bike developed with Huge Moto, made a bold statement at the show, showcasing the next evolution in electric motorcycle design for Zero. Alongside it, the Johanniter authority bike from Germany highlighted Zero’s focus on real-world solutions, equipped for emergency medical response and fleet use across Europe. Together, these models demonstrate Zero’s commitment to both innovative design and practical, high-performance applications.
Looking Forward
With the launch of our 2024 lineup, Zero Motorcycles is taking a decisive step forward in transforming electric motorcycling for riders around the world. We're not just creating motorcycles; we’re delivering an experience—one that redefines performance and accessibility in a way only Zero can. Every model in this new range reflects our deep dedication to pushing the boundaries of what electric motorcycles can achieve.
Our mission is simple: bridge the gap between accessibility and the thrill of high-performance riding. This isn’t about dabbling in electric—this is about leading the charge with purpose-built platforms that meet the needs of a global community of riders. And we’re just getting started.
