SLOW CHARGE
Zero Motorcycles models can be charged overnight from your typical grounded household outlet. Most models require between 5-8 hours to reach 0-95% state of charge, depending on charge speed.0-95% state of charge in around 5 hours
With accessory chargers, you can achieve a faster charging rate.
J1772 TYPE 1
MOST COMMON
Level 1 AC charging or the J1772 plug type makes up roughly 70% of the EV charging network in North America. AC charging represents the majority of public charging infrastructure across both Europe and North America and is the most common charging type in regions where Zero Motorcycles are sold. Most models require between 2-2 1/2 hours to reach 0-95% state of charge, depending on charge speed.20-80% state of charge in under 45 minutes
With accessory chargers, you can reach 20-80% state of charge in under 45 minutes.
DC CHARGING
LESS COMMON, BUT GROWING FAST
Level 3 DC fast charging makes up roughly 30% of the EV charging network in North America, but that percentage is growing. Over the course of the last 12 months, the number of DC Fast Charging points has increased significantly.20-80% state of charge in under 30 minutes
DC fast charging capability are coming to Zero Motorcycles in 2027.
Battery sizes range from 3.6 kWh all the way up to 17.3 kWh

Range Factors
Zero's line of motorcycles offers a wide variety of range and charging options. Range numbers are calculated based on strict testing conditions. These don't always reflect average typical use. Several factors will impact your range on electric or gasoline motorcycles. Steep climbs, driving into wind, weight, and tire inflation will all impact range.
