A few years back, Tinker Hatfield, the legendary footwear designer from Nike, and famed motorcycle mad scientist, Thor Drake of See See Motorcycles, met at the One Show in Portland, OR. The two hit it off bonding over design, creativity, and most importantly, motorcycles.

It became clear right away that the two needed to collaborate on something and their shared love for motorcycles made a custom build an obvious choice. Both Tinker and Thor were already Zero owners and decided they would use a 2020 Zero SR/F as the foundation for their project.

“The Zero motorcycle that we were working with is very beautiful, reminded me of an Italian superbike. Thor and I decided our goal was to 'Portlandize' it.”

Thor began to bring their vision to life in his shop, doing what he does best - taking bikes apart and giving them new life. One could say that this Zero SR/F rolled off the factory floor, only to join a Japanese street gang, added some Haramaki samurai body armor, got a tiger tattoo, and some one-off performance weapons, making this the ultimate street warrior. Silent and violent with an electric soul, fighting its way into the future. Nothing but pure energy waiting to be unleashed on the mean streets.

Their collective creative energies synergized to craft a custom SR/F that embodies their unique perspectives and artistic styles. Together, they crafted a custom masterpiece that magnifies the captivating appeal of the Zero, with a rough and raw streetfighter vibe.
